I dont think Italy will make the final 4.Nesta was a big loss for them and now they are without Canavaro as well.I would love to see France and Portugal in the final.So we could finally kick their ass after almost 50 years without doing so.I will be cheering for Portugal like mad...as always!!!

It's strange becasue a lot of people over here are pedicating an Italy-Portugal final. That would be great, but Portugal would have to make it out of the group and then face Germany at some point. I'd like to think that the last four yeas have been a massive learning experience, but we'll see. My heart says Portugal, but my head says Germany. I think whoever makes it out of Group C or D would be dead-tired by the time they make it to the final. So, if Portugal reach the final, the other finalist might be easy pickings..HaHaHa.

I like to see Portugal win the whole Euro 08 and get the bitter taste of 04 from my mouth. Germany got the easiest bracket, so they should be there as of favorites. Its unfortunate that they both can meet in the finals. But, I am portugal blood in and out and I see Portugal vs Spain, Portugal winning 3-2 w goals by Ronaldo, Veloso, and Nani.
watch out for Croatia, Russia and Czech Rep. the Eastern countrys are getting stronger every year.

It depends!Injuries,dodgy refs and overall bad luck can spoil the tournament for any team .If we escape those major factors we might have a chance.France will be there of course to Problably crush our dreams again,Germany, (which i hope we dont meet in the quarter finals)and the fourth to make it, could be Spain or the Check Republic, the only team who managed to beat Germany in the qualifying process.And i believe they were in the semis of 2004 losing also against the Greeks which i didn't include here as i dont even want to comtemplate that option...A Final thought about our team. I hope they play as a unit and dont go for personal glory.I have no faith in Quaresma for the National side and i really hope that he proves me wrong.

My favourites to do well in Euro 2008 or I think will do well is
Spain,France,Germany and Portugal!
Spain and France will meet in the Semifinals and Portugal and Germany will meet as the other pair!

The team that wins is the team that works as ONE, forget the BRIGHT STARS & superstars... it will take a great effort for Portugal to do it. With Deco heading up the midfield & a strong push from the defense along the sides--they will show up in the final four again. With the team they have coming mainly from three leagues/styles of play, I only hope they can come tpgether as one. Maniche not being there is fine as he had a limited role in Italy (like Tiago). The surprise player of the tournament will be NANI... wait & see!

Portugal play the beautiful game, but as always - and like Arsenal, they don't always score. If there justice, portugal would win, but unfortuntely it may well be something like Germany, or Greece...

I would love to say Portugal my heart says yes my head says no. Based on what I've seen in qualification we don't look good but hopefully in prepartion for this tournament things will change. Spain has a great team on paper, but paper doesn't win games, they always find a way to choke. I like Germany's chances they have the easiest road to the final and I think playing in Austria will be an advantage for them.

I think Spain will take some stopping this time round. Torres has had a marvellous season and will be confident of scoring more goals. Italy are always strong and France have great players.
I think these three will make the semis, maybe with Portugal getting there as well. Hope so because you play very attractive football. Good luck from an Englishman!
