Jackson strikes on centenary, but Porto draw

Round up of Sunday's action: Week 4

Prolific Colombian striker Jackson Martínez inevitably scored on his 100th appearance in Porto colours on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to earn his side three points.

Vitória Guimarães hosted Martínez's Porto with both sides having made a perfect start to the season with three wins out of three.

Something had to give at Vitoria's D. Afonso Henriques stadium, and a second-half penalty from the hosts' Bernard saw the spoils shared after Martínez's earlier spot-kick.

Guimarães made a bright start to the contest, but Porto gradually exerted control and took the lead when Martínez converted a 61st minute penalty. The visitor's lead only lasted 8 minutes, however, Bernard levelling from the spot.

Both unbeaten on 10 points, Vitória Guimarães sit second in the Primeira Liga with Porto fourth.

Sunday's other games saw Marítimo beat Penafiel 2-0, Boavista earn a 1-0 win over Académica, and Estoril also win at home, beating Nacional 2-1, while Paços Ferreira and Gil Vicente played out a 1-1 draw.
