Cesar embraces 'favourites' tagStriker also weary of Sporting threat One of the highly anticipated matches this round will be on Friday when Sporting Braga host Sporting. The Arsenalistas are having a fantastic season and will want to keep it that way when the resurging Lisbon club pays a vist to the Estadio AXA.
Braga sit atop of the table, along with Benfica, and won the first encounter between the two clubs way back in September, in the second round of the championship. For Paulo Cesar, the Brazilian is confident that Braga will be able to repeat their feat at the Alvalade as he feels that it is sensible the minhoto side are regarded as the favourites heading into this contest. "I expect the team to have a great match with our fans supporting us, as they have been. Due to the quality of football that we have played and leading the league, it is logical that we are favourites," said Cesar boastfully to Lusa. "Our only objective is to take it game by game. We are the favourites only in the match against Sporting - without a doubt. With respect to the championship it is important to maintain calm and the determination in order to try and secure first palce for as long as possible." As for Sporting, "they are on of the candidates for the championship because when it is still mathematically possible, they will keep fighting. They are one of the big clubs in Portuguese football and people must respect that." by Marco Pereira

This is a must win for both teams. For Braga they can continue to force benfica to win games and sporting need to win this game to get back into contention. I think it will be an exciting match that will end in a draw. However anything can happen especially because sporting are in great form.

This will be the main match this weekend to watch. Depending on the outcomes you can see some good movement in the standings after this weekend.
