Guimaraes land Edgar SilvaBrazilian striker signs on for year-long loan Vitoria Guimaraes have bolstered their attack as the club have acquired striker Edgar Silva on loan for the 2010/11 season.
The former FC Porto marksman enjoyed a brilliant campaign this past season with Nacional, scoring 13 goals in all competitions, and fills a void after Marquinho went to Maritimo. The Alvinegros could not reach a deal with Silva's parent club Vasco de Gama, much to Guimaraes' delight, and the beanpole striker will now make the switch to the D. Afonso Henrique.
