We will be the first to beat Braga - SergioGuimaraes coach lays down gauntlet The minhoto derby will take place tomorrow night and Guimaraes coach Paulo Sergio has made a bold prediction ahead of the always hotly contested fixture.
Despite praising the Arsenalistas and calling them "a very strong team," the Guimaraes strategist has stated that his side will be the first team to make Braga taste defeat. "I believe that we can be the first team to beat Braga in this championship. Braga are a very strong team , who appear to not have any weak points," stated Sergio. "They were eliminated in the Europa League because they had some problems defensively. Now they have resolved that issue and are a very strong team in all sectors." Even though Guimaraes lost to Academica in the last round, Sergio has reassured fans that his squad will put in a better showing against their city rivals.
