Pacos nab goalkeeper Antonio Filipe

Net-minder signs four-year deal

Pacos de Ferreira have bolstered their goalkeeping options as the club announced the signing of 24-year-old Antonio Filipe.

The 'keeper has endured quite a summer as Filipe initially signed for FC Vizela via Gondomar, as his contract expired with the latter, but he has now joined the ranks over at the Mata Real.

Antonio Filipe will duke it out with Cassio and Coelho for the starting spot between the posts, but it is believed that his first season with Pacos will mostly serve as an apprenticeship.
