Vidigal optimistic ahead of Sporting clashLeiria look to bounce back from successive defeats After having suffered losses to Sporting Braga and Nacional, Uniao de Leiria coach Lito Vidigal still feels that his side can march into the Alvalde and obtain a positive result against Sporting tomorrow.
"I am not saying that Sporting aren't favourites, but we do have some possibilties," argued Vidigal. "We will have to be objective and try to explore any opportunities so that we win." "Unfortuantley, the last two matches, the resutls did not go our way. We are balanced and will wait to see if the next result will be in our favour." The former Estrela da Amadora boss adds that his team should focus on what they have to and not with the other 11 players on the other side of the field. "We have to think solely about ourselves. We fight for humble objectives, knowing Sporting are a candidate for the title. But our main objective is to always win, regardless of who we play." Add your comment |
