Braga are into the UEFA Conference League play-offs after a 0-0 draw against Dinamo Minsk at Stadion Beroe in Bulgaria.
Defending a 1-0 lead earned in Portugal last week, the first half was just as tedious as that entire encounter.
Thankfully the game came alive in the second half, Pau Victor cutting the ball back for Ricardo Horta who hit the post three minutes after the restart.
Horta then tried to find Diogo Travassos in the box, referee Szabolcs Kovacs awarding a penalty after ruling that Roman Begunov handled the ball. It was clear that Begunov had headed the ball, Kovacs eventually overturning his decision.
Vitor Carvalho slipped over which presented Leonard Gweth with a chance, Bernardo Fontes coming off his line to thwart the danger. The goalkeeper made a comfortable save to deny Vladislav Kalinin as Dinamo finally came out to play.
Fran Navarro got past Begunov who fell over and handled the ball inside the box, Kovacs ruling Begunov had been pulled down by Navarro instead of awarding a penalty.
Maksim Shvetsov fired over the bar late on but Fontes was not troubled for the remainder of the contest, Braga reaching the play-offs where they will face Austria Vienna.
