Congratulations to João Rodrigues and his “Belenenses” team that hit top spot in the PortuGOAL Fantasy Football league after this weekend’s matches.
João made good use of his “Park the Bus” chip as FC Porto kept yet another clean sheet. He selected Jan Bednarek, Jacub Kiwior and Zaidu in his team, all of whom doubled their individual scores to earn him a whopping 36 points. The Blue and Whites have conceded zero goals in four matches in 2026/27.
Gil Vicente goalkeeper Lucão and Vitória striker Gustavo Silva were two more good picks as Belenenses finished on 69 points – the top point scorers in the 90-team league in gameweek 3.
The huge points haul was enough to propel João’s team to the summit of the PortuGOAL FF table, but only just, with a one-point advantage over “Tansos na Tosquia”.
