FC Porto kick off their 2026/27 Champions League campaign tomorrow at Estádio do Dragão against Manchester City.
But they will do so without star midfielder Victor Froholdt after he was knocked out cold in Friday’s 2-1 victory over Moreirense, and also without captain Jan Bednarek, who is suspended.
Argentinian centre-back Neuhén Pérez should deputise for Bednarek, while either Seko Fofana (if coach Francesco Farioli adopts a more muscular approach) or Hwang Inbeom will come into midfield.
The only other doubt surrounds left-back, with either Martim Fernandes or Francisco Moura taking the place of the injured Zaidu Sanusi.
