Congratulations to Rui Freitas and his “Teikirize OK” team that accumulated an incredible 153 points in gameweek 5. It was the highest team score in the PortuGOAL Fantasy Football league after this week’s Liga Portugal matches.
Rui did it by making judicious use of the Loan Rangers chip and packing his team with Benfica players, with a couple of wisely chosen Estrela da Amadora players making up his eleven.
Captaining Gianluca Prestianni proved a masterstroke, the in-form Argentine earning a massive 52 points for Teikirize OK. Benfica centre-back Lenglet (20 points) and Estrela’s Romanian midfielder Ianis Stoica (15 points) were two other standout performers.
Rui jumped up the PortuGOAL FF standings to 11th place in the 91-team league.

Alheira Mecânica remains top of the table after another positive week (131 points, also using the Loan Rangers chip), but his lead has been cut to 13 points with “Project cannot stop” remaining in hot pursuit in second place.
