Galatasaray 1-4 Barcelona
João Cancelo continued his recent run of goalscoring form by grabbing the equaliser as Barcelona came from behind to record an impressive 4-1 victory over Galatasaray in Istanbul.
The Portugal man scored shortly before half time with a crisp finish to level the score at 1-1, after which Lamine Yamal inspired a strong second-half performance to maintain their 100% record in all competitions this season.

“It was a great atmosphere,” Cancelo told DAZN after the match in Türkiye. “We were expecting it actually, but it exceeded my expectations. I think we played a great game, we deserved the victory, but the atmosphere was spectacular.”
Cancelo has now scored in three consecutive games for club and country, having found the net for the Seleção against Denmark and Norway during the international break. Having registered a stunning strike against Racing Santander last month, which was issued Goal of the Month in La Liga, the full-back has four goals from his last seven outings.
“I’m not much of a goalscorer... lately I’ve scored a few,” he added. “The important thing is that I managed to help the team equalise at that moment. We managed a very good comeback and we all played a great game.”
Next up for Barcelona is a trip to Real Betis in La Liga on Saturday evening.
