There was a memorable moment for Portuguese youngster David Santos Daiber on Wednesday evening, as the midfielder scored his first senior goal for German champions Bayern Munich.
Bayern hammered Magdeburg 6-1 in the German Cup to advance to the last 16, as the club celebrated Harry Kane's Ballon d'Or win with a convincing victory which afforded game time to some of the squad's younger players.
Among them is 19-yearold Santos Daiber, who made his first appearance for the first team this season when coming off the bench on 82 minutes. If game time has been in short supply for Portugal under-20 international, his stunning right-footed finish into the bottom corner in stoppage time will do no harm to his chances of more action.

Santos Daibe signed a four-year contract at Bayern in March, with sporting director Christop Freund saying at the time: “He’s got game intelligence, is assured on the ball and is an extremely reliable midfielder, who’s taken a big step in his development in recent months thanks to regular training with the first team. We have a lot of faith in him.”
Bayern are unbeaten in all competitions so far this term, ahead of an intriguing pair of upcoming games at home against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and away at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
