It is tradition for the Manchester United manager to address the Old Trafford crowd at the end of the final match of the season.
Many would have understood if Ruben Amorim was hesitant to fulful such duties given the club’s wretched campaign, but the Portuguese delivered an impressive speech after Sunday's 2-0 victory over Aston Villa.
Goals from Amad Diallo (wonderfully assisted by Bruno Fernandes) and Christian Eriksen saw United sign off with three points, having produced a surprisingly dominant performance against Champions League chasing Villa.
After the match, the home crowd largely stayed behind to hear from Amorim.

There is little doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabian side has been a mixed story of continued personal achievement, allied to a disappointing struggle for the team in challenging for silverware.
