Portugal international forward Bruma is set to return to Turkish football to join Jorge Jesus’ Fenerbahce, after the Istanbul club confirmed a deal to take him on loan from PSV Eindhoven.

Bruma, who has switched clubs many times during his career, enjoyed arguably his best form with Galatasaray in Turkey during the 2016-17 season, where he scored an impressive eleven goals in the Super Lig.

Brazilian club Flamengo have announced the departure of manager Paulo Sousa after less than six months in the job at Maracanã.

Sousa joined Flamengo in controversial circumstances in December, quitting his post with the Polish national team in the build-up to the World Cup play-off in order to take on the challenge in Rio de Janeiro. However, after just ten rounds of the new Brasileirão season Fla have made a change with the team languishing in 14^th place.

Veteran Portuguese boss Jorge Jesus is back in football after being unveiled as the new coach of Turkish giants Fenerbahçe on a one-year contract until 2023.

Jesus has been out of football since leaving Benfica in December, and had been linked with a host of jobs in Europe and Brazil. The 68-year-old will take charge of Fenerbahçe for pre-season and initially joins on a one-season deal as the permanent successor to Vítor Pereira who was fired in mid-season.
