José Mourinho was finally paraded in Rome on Friday afternoon as new coach of AS Roma, and spoke at length about his new job and what attracted him to return to Italy with the Giallorossi.

Mourinho was given an incredible reception by the club’s fans as he arrived at the training ground, with supporters lining the surrounding streets as the Portuguese arrived to make his first appearance in the Italian capital since taking the job two months ago.

Vítor Pereira is back in football after taking the reigns at Turkish giants Fenerbahçe for the second time on a contract running until 2023.

Pereira has been without a club for six months having left Chinese side Shanghai Port FC at the turn of the year. His arrival in Istanbul sees him return to the club he coached for the 2015-16 season, for what is his sixth job abroad since leaving FC Porto after back-to-back titles in 2013.

German club RB Leipzig have confirmed the signing of Portuguese international Andre Silva from Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt on a five-year contract.

The deal for the former Porto man is reportedly worth an initial €23m fee which could rise to €35m depending on achievement clauses being met. Silva has signed until 2026 on a salary believed to be in the region of €4m per year at the Red Bull Arena.

Marco Silva has returned to English football with Championship club Fulham on a three-year contract, the London club announced on Thursday evening.

Just 24 hours after Nuno Espírito Santo took charge of Tottenham Hotspur, Silva also heads to the capital for what is his fourth job in England after 18 months out of the game.
