Braga’s Primeira Liga title hopes continue after a hard fought 1-0 win against Boavista.
The first half was a forgettable affair before an explosive start to the second half where the Warriors took the lead after just six seconds.
It was an incredible goal coming from Boavista’s kick off, Bruno Onyemaechi’s back pass pounced on by Vitinha who took advantage by beating Rafael Bracali.
Braga were far from their best but the victory keeps them in the title fight, narrowing the gap behind Benfica to three points and establishing a four point lead over Porto, the Eagles and Dragons playing their game in hand tomorrow.

Vizela made it back-to-back home wins in the Primeira Liga after a comfortable 3-0 victory against Marítimo.
The contest was largely over inside the opening seven minutes after Samu assisted two goals for Milutin Osmajic, the Maderia club facing an uphill battle after failing to score two goals in their previous 18 league games.
The contest was over in the 53rd minute when Marítimo were reduced to 10 men, Matheus Costa shown a straight red card for bringing down Osmajic.
Vizela bossed the rest of the match, Anderson converting from a corner in the 75th minute to lift Tulipa's side into the top half of the table.

B-SAD ended Länk Vilaverdense’s unbeaten start to the season with a 4-1 win in the Taça de Portugal Round of 16.
Tiago Lopes put the visitors into the lead after 17 seconds before Jefferson extended the lead in the 20th minute.
Vilaverdense got back into the contest in the 66th minute when Kikas headed a corner into his own net, but the striker had the last laugh after converting a penalty and assisting Edgar Pacheco in added time.
